Talos Kubernetes Upgrade

Upgraded the homelab from a single Fedora CoreOS container host to a 3-node Talos Kubernetes cluster. Migrated the containerized media stack (*arr suite) from Podman Quadlets to ArgoCD GitOps — declarative manifests, automated sync, and self-healing — turning a single-host setup into orchestrated, reproducible infrastructure.

Immutable Container Host Deployment

Secure, self-healing media stack on an immutable host: rootless Podman, SELinux enforcing, Tailscale VPN, 3-2-1 backups, resource throttling, real-time alerts, sub-15-minute disaster recovery via Butane/Ignition.

Container Migration & Platform Evaluation

Migrated a 14-container stack (Arr suite, Jellyfin, monitoring, backups) from Docker to Podman. Evaluated daemon vs. daemonless/rootless tradeoffs, integrated the stack into systemd for unified management, fixed SELinux contexts and UID mapping, documented the full performance/security comparison.

Media Automation Stack

Built and maintained an automated media server: 14 containers covering media management, monitoring, and backups — foundational reps in containerization, networking, persistent storage, and service orchestration.
